Frank Olivero was arrested by the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Insurance Fraud Unit on Tuesday, May 23, Esther Suarez said. Olivero filed a claim with Progressive Insurance Company falsely claiming his 2017 Honda Civic was damaged while he was parked in New York City in January 2003, Suarez said. The damage had actually occurred prior to that date, Suarez said.
Olivero was charged with insurance fraud in the third degree and was released pending his first court appearance next month, Suarez said.
